Bilgin Yachts Launches 52m Superyacht NB83: Latest Hull in 170 Series

Bilgin Yachts has successfully launched the 52-meter (170ft) superyacht NB83 from its Antalya shipyard. The latest hull in the semi-custom 170 series, it features exterior and naval architecture by Unique Yacht Design, interiors by Hot Lab, and offers a range of approximately 5,000 nautical miles.

Bilgin Yachts announces the successful launch of NB83, the latest hull in its highly successful 52-meter Bilgin 170 series. This launch in Antalya marks a key stage in construction and highlights the growing strength of the shipyard's Turkish production capabilities.

Sleek Design & Proven Platform

Built on a proven semi-custom platform, NB83 represents an evolved generation of Bilgin's former 50-meter series. Its exterior and naval architecture are by Unique Yacht Design, delivering an efficient displacement hull optimized for long-range capability and comfort.

"Our goal with the 170 series was to offer the exterior spaces typically found on 60-meter yachts within a sub-500 GT platform," says Emrecan Özgün, Founder of Unique Yacht Design. "NB83 is sleek, sexy, and modern. We focused on maximizing the transition between luxury indoor and outdoor living."

A Production-Driven Philosophy

The launch underscores Bilgin's vertically integrated, production-focused mindset. "We come from a production background, which allows us to control every stage of the build," explains Özgün. "Having design and engineering know-how constantly communicating with production is essential."

More than 90% of the yacht's construction is carried out in-house, reflecting Bilgin's five-generation shipbuilding heritage and ensuring complete quality control.

Refined Interiors by Hot Lab

The interior spaces are designed by Hot Lab, blending functionality with refined aesthetics. "Today's clients are far more design-conscious," says Enrico Lumini of Hot Lab. "What defines modern luxury is the intelligent layering of materials and textures, creating interiors that feel inviting, elegant, and timeless."

With a gross tonnage of 499 GT, the series offers approximately 20% more usable volume than yachts in the 48-meter range. NB83 accommodates up to 12 guests, including a bridge-deck owner's suite, and features expansive outdoor living areas.
