Diesel-electric hybrid propulsion, 3,500nm range, and class-leading quiet operation

Istanbul, August 2025 – Numarine, the Turkish shipyard renowned for its efficient explorer yachts, has launched the second hull of its innovative 30XP model. Following the debut of Minella at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, this new unit retains the same diesel-electric hybrid propulsion system, layout, and features, while introducing a fresh all-white exterior and an interior palette of white and beige with dark accents.

Filling a neatly defined niche in Numarine’s lineup between the 26XP and 37XP, the 30XP combines explorer DNA with contemporary design by long-time collaborator Can Yalman. The raised pilothouse configuration maximizes internal volume, yielding an impressive 213GT within a sleek 30-metre profile.

Expansive Outdoor Living

The 30XP was designed to connect guests seamlessly with the sea. Outdoor highlights include:

  • Beach club: Fold-down bulwarks expand the space to 46 sqm, with generous headroom and a hydraulic swim platform.

  • Private balcony: Accessible from the main deck master suite, ideal for secluded views.

  • Flybridge: Rivals those of larger yachts, offering ample lounging and entertainment space with wet bar and sunpads.

A side-loading tender garage to port houses a 5.65m diesel tender, leaving the aft beach club uncluttered. The raised beach club deck creates a unique semi-open lounging area that feels suspended just above the water.

Serene Interiors

The main deck saloon benefits from full-height windows and sliding doors aft and to starboard, creating a fluid transition between indoors and out. The forward-facing master suite enjoys privacy and panoramic views, while four ensuite guest cabins on the lower deck provide comfortable accommodation for up to 10 guests.

A crew of four plus captain are accommodated in dedicated quarters to ensure high service levels.

Hybrid Performance & Quiet Operation

The 30XP offers a choice between conventional twin MAN 560hp engines or an advanced diesel-electric hybrid system. This second hull is delivered with the hybrid configuration:

  • Range: 3,500nm at 8 knots

  • Speed: Top speed ~13 knots, cruising ~12 knots

  • Hybrid system: Twin electric motors powered by 4 x 108kW diesel generators, optimized for efficiency and low vibration

  • Noise levels: Remarkably quiet—below 40 dBA in guest cabins and 38.1 dBA in the master, quieter than rainfall, thanks to Numarine’s collaboration with Silent Line.

Optional solar panels can supplement power needs, further boosting efficiency.

Sustainable Innovation

In line with Numarine’s commitment to sustainability, the 30XP employs eco-friendly materials wherever possible, integrates energy-efficient systems, and features onboard waste management and recycling solutions.

Advanced stabilisation, smart-home systems, and cutting-edge navigation and communications technology complete a yacht designed for comfort, safety, and long-range adventure.
