Seeing Double: The New 101m Feadship Moonrise Unveiled

The newly unveiled Moonrise, an impressive 101.00-metre superyacht, has officially exited the shed at the Feadship facility in Makkum. As a refined evolution of its predecessor, delivered in 2020, the new Moonrise retains its elegant exterior lines, powerful vertical bow, and distinctive grey-and-snow-white paintwork, while incorporating significant technological and design advancements.

A Sleek Aesthetic with Groundbreaking Enhancements

Although the two Moonrises share exterior styling by Studio De Voogt and interiors by Rémi Tessier Design, the new vessel features numerous refinements that further enhance its beauty, functionality, and onboard experience.

  • First Feadship Superyacht Without Visible Domes

    • The Starlink satellite receivers are seamlessly integrated into the superstructure, eliminating the five domes found on the previous Moonrise.
    • This enhances communication & streaming capabilities while preserving aerodynamic elegance.
  • Expanded Exterior & Interior Spaces

    • A taller mast and a larger sun deck, now featuring a massage area, gym, and hair salon.
    • Extended exterior decks & swim platform for enhanced outdoor living.
    • A dedicated owner’s deck and a private cinema on the bridge deck.
  • Innovative Naval Architecture & Noise Reduction

    • Optimized hull and appendage design for enhanced comfort while underway or at anchor.
    • A fully resilient-mounted anchor winch foundation—a world-first—designed to minimize noise and vibration.
    • Refined propellers and appendages ensure exceptional onboard quietness and reduce underwater noise.

Technical Specifications

  • Length Overall: 101.00m (331’4”)
  • Beam Overall: 15.50m (50’10”)
  • Draught (Loaded): 4.20m (13’9”)
  • Hull: Steel
  • Superstructure: Aluminium
  • Naval Architect: Feadship De Voogt Naval Architects
  • Exterior Design: Studio De Voogt

Currently in final outfitting, Moonrise will undergo sea trials before being delivered to its owner, further cementing Feadship’s reputation for groundbreaking innovation and luxury in superyacht design.
