Milan, Italy – February 8, 2024 – Renowned Italian boat builder Baglietto unveiled two exciting new yacht lines today at a press conference in Milan. These innovative vessels, designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design, push the boundaries of design and functionality, further expanding Baglietto's product portfolio in its 170th anniversary year.
XO: Embracing the Horizon
The XO
line caters to those seeking unforgettable journeys and
boundless exploration. More than just traditional Explorers,
these yachts embody the concept of Experiencing, Observing,
and Xploring (XO). The 50-meter X50
serves as the first model in this groundbreaking line.
Unparalleled Observation Point: A defining feature of the
XO line is the unique observation point positioned
above the wheelhouse. This exclusive space offers panoramic views
and transforms into an entertainment area ideal for long voyages. Large windows
provide a 360-degree vista, while a central
skylight allows guests to enjoy the magic of starry nights.
Inspired by Innovation:Drawing inspiration from the
iconic ETR 300 'Settebello' train, the XO line reimagines
the traditional layout by placing the pilot bridge on the upper deck and
reserving the exclusive observation area for guests
above.
Sophisticated Design:Despite exploring a new
design language, the XO line retains the signature Baglietto style,
blending sleek lines with the robustness of an Explorer.
The flybridge resembles the one found on the 16.50-meter model, while the upper
deck draws inspiration from the successful T52 concept.
Transoceanic Prowess:The hull, designed for transoceanic
crossings, features a sturdy and sharp bow
for efficient maneuvering in challenging conditions. Generous areas are
dedicated to storing large tenders, ensuring safe exploration even in rough
seas.
Sustainable Solutions:Baglietto's commitment to environmental
responsibility is evident in the use of eco-friendly
ceramic materials, solar panels on the
flybridge, and the selection of special paints.
Unmatched Customization:The XO line offers a range
of customization options, particularly in the aft area, which can
comfortably accommodate up to two large tenders. Additionally, a wide palette
of colors allows for personalized design expression.
FAST50: Redefining Performance
The FAST50
yacht, powered by four MTU 2000M96L engines, reaches a
maximum speed of 30 knots, solidifying Baglietto's position
at the forefront of high-performance aluminum superyachts.
Drawing on Legacy:The FAST50 draws
inspiration from iconic Baglietto models like
Pachamama, Monokini, and RUSH, while incorporating design elements from the
innovative T52 line. The sleek lines and folding
gunwale offer an exceptional swimming platform
experience.
Seamless Connection:Similar to the T52, the
FAST50 boasts a seamless connection between interior and exterior
spaces, achieved through floor-to-ceiling windows
on the upper deck and lower gunwales that maximize the view.
This creates a spacious and airy main saloon, housing a lounge area and a TV
area, while the dining area resides in the sky lounge on the upper deck.
Generous Spaces:Embracing the "wide-body"
concept in the master cabin, the FAST50 offers exceptional
volume without compromising on visibility, thanks to silk-screened
hull windows. The upper deck features ample outdoor areas for
relaxation and sunbathing, while the lower deck offers two VIP cabins and two
twin cabins, all en-suite.
Crew Quarters and Tender Storage:Spacious crew quarters
include a dinette, captain's cabin, and additional cabins. The yacht can
accommodate a 7-meter tender stored in a dedicated
garage behind the engine room.
Limited-draft semi-tunnels ensure safe navigation in shallow waters.
The first FAST50 is currently
under construction at the shipyard, with delivery scheduled for 2026.
"The FAST50 line marks Baglietto's
return to the high-performance segment," comments Baglietto's Sales Manager Fabio Ermetto. "This
new top-of-the-range model reinterprets our heritage while catering to clients
who demand exceptional performance without compromising on comfort and
luxury."
