SECOND PERSHING GTX116 UNIT LAUNCHED: SPORTY ELEGANCE AND EXCEPTIONAL COMFORT

Mondolfo, July 21, 2023 – The highly anticipated second unit of the Pershing GTX116 was launched, showcasing a perfect blend of sporty character, outstanding liveability, and unprecedented comfort. Designed for the US market, this luxurious yacht redefines the marine experience with its focus on elegance, performance, and innovative design that enhances the connection between the vessel and the sea.

Design and Exterior
The second Pershing GTX116, a collaboration between Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee, led by Piero Ferrari, designer Fulvio De Simoni, and the Group’s Engineering Department, continues the brand’s tradition of sporty luxury. Measuring over 35 meters in length and 7.70 meters in beam, this yacht features a sleek, streamlined profile that embodies the brand’s sporty personality. The exterior is painted in the classic Pershing grey, with a special shade of blue for the deckhouse, enhancing its sophisticated appearance. The yacht also features generous glazed surfaces that flood the interiors with natural light, creating a seamless connection between the interior and exterior spaces.

Interior Layout
The main deck houses a spacious lounge, designed with high-end furnishings arranged to maximize space and comfort. Unlike the first model, which featured a bar area, this unit includes a conventional dining table, providing a more traditional yet elegant setting for socializing. The taupe oak parquet by Listone Giordano perfectly complements the warm, inviting furnishings, including a sand-colored Frau sofa. The furniture in this unit has a gloss finish that appears more matte compared to the first unit, adding to the space's refined elegance. The adjacent galley is more spacious than the previous model, equipped with three fridge units and warm-colored cupboard doors in ivory with tone-on-tone color dots, ensuring both functionality and style.

Outdoor Spaces
The cockpit features an extending fixed table, with two additional teak tables located further aft. A large bar unit opposite the cockpit table creates an ideal setting for relaxation and socializing, enhancing the connection with the surrounding water. In the forward area, the shipyard’s design includes a 6-person Jacuzzi, perfect for leisurely moments on board.

Lower Deck and Sundeck
The lower deck is home to four guest cabins and the master suite, which is designed with a king-size Frau bed featuring pecan-colored finishings and ivory accents, reflecting the warm color palette used throughout the yacht. The master bathroom is a luxurious space with three interior areas, including two regular showers, a central waterfall shower, and a herringbone mosaic by Metalborder that adds an extra touch of elegance.

The yacht’s garage can accommodate a jet ski and two water toys, while the exclusive 39-square-meter beach club features a teak deck and an electro-hydraulic taffrail that opens to connect the beach area with the swim platform, creating an expansive area at the water’s edge. The 40-square-meter sundeck, accessible via two outdoor stairways from the stern, is furnished with modular sofas by Minotti. This layout provides ample space for enjoying life on board in a convivial yet refined atmosphere.

Performance
The second Pershing GTX116 is equipped with a triple water jet propulsion system. It can be paired with three optional MAN V12 2000 engines, each delivering 2,000 mhp, enabling the yacht to reach a top speed of 35.5 knots and a cruising speed of 29.5 knots. The standard configuration includes three MAN V12 1800 engines rated at 1,800 mhp.

This second unit of the Pershing GTX116 reaffirms the brand’s commitment to innovation and luxury, offering a yachting experience that merges high performance with exceptional comfort and elegance.
