Luxury yacht builder Pride Mega Yachts is a recent evolution of shipyard Raffles Yacht (also known as Yantai Raffles), which gained international fame when it launched the 88.15m, “proa”-style MY Asean Lady _in 2004. The 90.1m traditional superyacht _Nero delivered in 2007 also was constructed at Yantai Raffles. In 2010, the shipyard was acquired by China International Marine Containers (CIMC), a global 11-billion-dollar enterprise. CIMC rebranded the superyacht builder as Pryde Mega Yachts, then changed the name slightly to the current Pride Mega Yachts.Notable Pride Mega Yachts
The flagship for superyacht builder Pride will be Illusion, an 88m motor yacht scheduled for completion at the end of 2015. Naval architecture for the project is by world renowned Azure Naval Architects, while interior design is by Sander Sinot.
